Kai En Loo (羅凱恩) – Undergraduate Intern Student

Kai En Loo is a senior student at National Taiwan University (NTU) in the Electrical Engineering Department. He plans to pursue a master’s degree at NTU with the PEARS Lab. His research interests include energy conversion, particularly in renewable systems.

To-Lei Huang (黃朵蕾) – M.S. Student

To-Lei Huang is a M.S. student at National Taiwan University (NTU) in the Electrical Engineering Department. Her research interests are offshore wind power systems and power conversion. She also has interests in ballroom dancing and K-pop.

Richard Angsetya – M.S. Student

Richard is Indonesian and is soon to be an Electrical Engineer bachelor graduate. He is interested in power electronics and is planning to pursue a Master’s degree in Professor Kim’s lab. His research interest is in energy harvesting for wearables.

Dong Heng Tsai (蔡東衡) – M.S. Student

Dong Heng Tsai received the B.S. degree in Electric Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) in 2023. He is a Masters student in the Electrical Engineering Department at National Taiwan University. His research interests include power converters and battery charging.

Sean Logi – M.S. Student

Sean Logi received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University of Technology (NTU), Taiwan, in 2023. He is a Masters student in the Electrical Engineering Department at National Taiwan University. His research interests include flexible PCBs for power electronics used in energy harvesting wearables.

Yun-Jen Xu (徐昀湞) – M.S. Student

Yun-Jen Xu received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), Taiwan, in 2023. He is a Masters student in the Electrical Engineering Department at National Taiwan University. His research interests include the analysis of dc-dc converters.

Yu-Kai Liao (廖昱凱) – M.S. Student

Yu-Kai Liao received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT), Taiwan, in 2022. He is a Masters student in the Electrical Engineering Department at National Taiwan University. His research interests include circuit analysis and improving converter efficiency.

Hsin-Hsuan Tsai (蔡昕璇) – M.S. Student

Hsin-Hsuan Tsai is an incoming M.S. student in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University (NTU). She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at NTU in 2023. She received the ITRI Power School Outstanding Project Proposal Award (電網學校暨人才發展聯盟獎學金) in 2022, as well as Dean’s List Award while at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) in 2020. Her research interests include grid-tied inverters and electric vehicles.

Ting-Yu Lin (林亭妤) – M.S. Student

Ting-Yu Lin received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Ilan University (NIU), Taiwan, in 2021. She is currently a Masters student in the Electrical Engineering Department at National Taiwan University. Her research focus is on loss analysis of dc-dc converters.

Taiwei Chen (陳泰瑋) – Ph.D. Student

Taiwei Chen received his B.S. degree in Engineering Science from National Cheng Kung University (NCKU). He earned his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA (UTSA), where he was involved in research on EMI/EMC performance in power electronics. His Master’s thesis was on “Inductor Design for Common-mode and Differential Mode Inductors” published in Dec. 2014. He has more than 6 years of experience in inverter circuit design, product testing and certification as an electrical engineer in the renewable energy industry. He is pursuing his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University. His research interests include energy harvesting power electronics, electric vehicles, improvement of microinverters, and electric power subsystem design of nano-satellites.
